Job Description

We are now recruiting a Manager, Supply Chain Brand to our diverse Team in AbbVie North Dublin. This person will be responsible for cross-functional alignment on strategies, supply, demand, assurance of supply, long range planning and life cycle management for a brand within AbbVie's global portfolio. Reporting to Director, Global Supply Chain Brand, this person will have a global view and be the link between Operations and Commercial teams to ensure the smooth supply of innovative medicines that solve serious health issues today.

Responsibilities:

1. With the leadership of the Supply Chain Director, drive their assigned Operations Brand/Program projects.
2. Manage lifecycle transitions that can have a significant impact on Brands sales, managing millions of dollars in capital/project expense and delivering multi-million-dollar cost savings.
3. Core member of Operations Brand Team.
4. Create a viable Brand plan, financial plan, LRP, risk assessment, and Lifecycle strategies. Justify and ensure alignment with AbbVie's business goals and strategic imperatives.
5. Primary interface with Commercial to develop and gain agreement on Brand/Product forecasts.
6. Remain current on internal and external factors impacting their Brand/Product(s).
7. Assist the Brand Director or Brand Manager with the supply chain interface to provide a central point of contact for stakeholders from Commercial, R&D, S&T, Legal, Tax, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Manufacturing and TPMs.
8. Capable of communicating effectively and widely to all levels of the organization.
9. Aid the team to communicate a common vision to the cross-functional stakeholders and help the teams to ensure that roles, responsibilities, and issues are clearly understood and resulting activities are agreed and coordinated.
10. Manage program activities to optimize operational performance and meet strategic business needs while ensuring that assurance of supply is achieved.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Science plus business and product management in Life Science; MBA or higher education desired but not required.
2. 5-8 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Management, Product Development, and/or Financial Management.
3. Proven experience in managing effective teams and fostering collaboration across organizational boundaries.
4. A demonstrated success as a collaborative team player.
5. Proven excellent presentation, oral, written and communication skills.
6. Proven ability to handle conflicting priorities to deliver results.
7. Proven capability to manage, implement and influence large change management programs.
8. Knowledge of the Commercial and Process understanding, and experience of the Product/Brand they manage is a benefit.
9. Possess understanding of core business processes.
10. Proven ability to interface effectively in worldwide cultural settings and with executive level management.
