IAS Laboratories provide value added professional services addressing the environmental, technical and commercial challenges faced in this dynamic environment. e.**Job Description:**### **Laboratory Technician**### ### **Location:** County Carlow### ### **Department:** IAS Laboratories### ### **Laboratory Technician** to join our team in County Carlow. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic laboratory environment, supporting essential testing and analysis that drives our commitment to excellence.### ### **What You’ll Do*** ### Prepare and test samples for key parameters such as pH, Conductivity, Turbidity, TDS, Suspended Solids, COD, BOD, Organic Matter, Kjeldahl Nitrogen, and more.* ### Accurately record and input results into our LIMS system.* ### Maintain compliance with ISO 17025:2017 standards and report any non-conformances.* ### Keep your work area organized and clean, following 5S principles.* ### Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage of samples.* ### Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen mindset).### **What We’re Looking For*** ### **Education:** Diploma or degree in a science discipline preferred.* ### **Experience:** Experience in a laboratory setting desirable.* ### **Skills:** + ### Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities. + ### Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. + ### Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and LIMS.* ### **Language:** Good spoken and written English.* ### Be part of a collaborative and supportive team.* ### Work in a role that makes a real impact on quality and compliance.* ### Opportunities for growth and development within a leading organization.### ### Cawood is the largest independent provider of analytical laboratory testing and sampling services for the land-based industries in the UK.
