Senior Veterinary Surgeon - up to 80K - Dublin An independent small animal hospital in Dublin is seeking an experienced SMALL ANIMAL - Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join its growing team. This role offers excellent opportunities for career progression for the right candidate.
The hospital is one of Dublin's few remaining independent practices, with a caseload of approximately 75% cats & dogs and 25% exotics.
This supportive, collaborative team values initiative, high standards of care, and input from every member of staff. The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping the hospital's clinical standards and future development.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a strong surgical foundation (soft tissue, dentistry, and routine surgical caseloads)
Be confident in medicine and have at least basic ultrasound skills
Lead by example supporting, motivating, and developing colleagues
Be proactive, collaborative, and committed to raising standards of care
Show ambition and take ownership in driving the practice forward
The role:
Full-time position (flexible working patterns considered)
Senior clinical responsibilities with clear scope for progression
Salary 60,000- 80,000, depending on experience
Based in Dublin, with the possibility of some time at a new second site opening soon
