The Governance Support will be responsible for assisting the Project and Programme Management Lead in the development and implementation of a reporting structure for the governance requirements of the major project, ensuring that it is applied across all contracts and in line with the projects governance arrangements. The role holder will be required to liaise with the wider client Corporate organization to ensure governance processes are in compliance with the commissions governance requirements and where changes are required shall work with the wider project team to ensure these are implemented within the project and applied to its governance arrangements.

Experience

- Tangible experience of driving best practice in technical activities, processes, policies and standards
- In-depth understanding of the design and delivery requirements of technically complex projects in the architectural / engineering / construction sectors
- Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the
- Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices and systems is desirable, preferably within the construction sector.

Skills

The Governance Support will be required to possess the following skills:

- Good influencing skills to manage and motivate teams in support of delivery of high risk, value and complex project and programmes
- Ability to coordinate and organize multiple sources of reporting inputs / performance data and deliver project /programme reports as required
- An ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service

- BEng /BA/ BSC in a related discipline ideally from governance
