Process Engineer - Tech Transfer - Carlow, Ireland - 11 Months Contract

When it comes to the development and production of veterinary vaccines, our pharmaceutical client has the largest centre in the industry worldwide and is a Centre of Excellence; employing more than 1000 people. They are looking to add to their team and require a Process Engineer - Tech Transfer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved with the critical investment projects both on-site and remotely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

For this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Lead and execute process engineering and validation activities to support the technical transfers.
2. Manage and deliver on all technical/Validation/Quality Notifications/Change control/Project support within the technical engineering team.
3. Use scientific, product and process understanding as a basis for developing risk-based approaches to investigations and troubleshooting.

Desirable Experience

1. Process engineering and/or validation experience in a sterile manufacturing environment with a proven track record in leading a technical team of engineers/scientists through sustaining operations and technical transfer projects.
2. A strong career history in pharma (ideally aseptic filling) and familiarity with a highly regulated environment.
3. In-depth knowledge and experience of sterile filling processes and equipment, especially aseptic processing.
4. Experience of executing and/or managing through equipment and process validation in a sterile environment.
5. Good shipping/Filter/Cleaning validation knowledge required.
