Rate: 50-60 / hour all in rate
About the Role:
AA Euro Group is seeking a highly skilled Electrical QA/QC Inspector to support our operations within the power generation industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all electrical installations and work activities comply with industry regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct QA/QC inspections on electrical systems, installations, and components to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents to verify correct installation and adherence to regulations.
- Perform CompEx-certified inspections in hazardous areas, ensuring ATEX and IECEx compliance.
- Monitor and document electrical testing, commissioning, and verification processes.
- Identify and report any non-conformities, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Liaise with engineers, site supervisors, and contractors to ensure quality assurance processes are maintained.
- Conduct audits and provide detailed reports on quality issues, progress, and corrective actions.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards during inspections.

Requirements:

- CompEx Certification (Ex01Ex04 as a minimum).
- Proven experience in QA/QC inspection within the power generation industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical standards and regulations (e.g., BS7671, IEC, ATEX, and relevant industry codes).
- Experience with inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
- Strong report-writing skills and proficiency in QA documentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable:

- Additional qualifications in electrical engineering or inspection.
- Experience working in hazardous area environments.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
