Data Center Security Specialist, APMEA ASSET Team

We are looking for a Data Center Security Specialist to join our Control Center team. The Data Center Security Specialist role may encompass oversight of contract employee deliverables and collaboration with Security Managers in order to devise security strategies, achieve financial targets, and to improve the overall operational security within our Data Centers. They will report to the NTE Security Ops Regional Mgr.

This position will be based in a control room environment and following a shift rotation schedule.

Key job responsibilities

1. Interface with and assist in mobilizing vendors involved in system repairs
2. Provide access control management support to internal and external customers.
3. Observe and report physical security system anomalies.
4. Observe and report security incidents and policy breaches.
5. Coordinate the activities of a professional contract guard force
6. Oversee individual security vendor deliverables, track service delivery and request corrective actions from vendors as needed
7. Foster working relationships to educate stakeholders on alarm reductions.
8. Extract security metrics, observe and drive improvements through the analysis of data
9. Verify Data Center security programs are delivered to meet defined global security standards
10. Draft reports and prepare presentations on the status of physical security operations
11. Collaborate with security managers in writing and implementing security processes and procedures
12. Serve as a customer advocate by identifying security-related opportunities and crafting innovative solutions that maintain high security standards

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's Degree
2. Experience of working in standards-based professional work environment.
3. Basic knowledge of physical security operations in access control.
4. 2+ years of incident response & management experience
5. Proficiency with MS Office

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Read, write, and speak business level English language
2. Good report writing skills
3. Data and trend analysis
