Service line: The advis ory team within Deloitte is committed to excellence, providing specialist advisory services to support our clients address complex accounting matters, ESG repo rting, transactional events, internal financial controls and an expansive range of topics that result from market disruptions. About the role: As part of this role, you will be focused on supporting advisory work for finance function s and will typically be involved in some of the following key offerings mainly within the Technology and Financial Services industries : Month and Quarter End financial and management reporting and optimisation Finance process and control environment improvement projects Chart of Accounts (review, rationalisation , re-design) Design and implement new reporting requirements under IFRS / US GAAP / local GAAP Drive accounting, reporting and business process simplification and efficiency initiatives Oversee s tatutory reporting requirements Contribute to business development and the strengthening of client relationships Participate in the d evelop ment of materials for and participate in the delivery of presentations to clients and firm personnel; and Mentor and develop teams of advisory resources . About you: ACA, CA, CPA or ACCA qualification , or equivalent Audit e xperience preferred Big 4 experience preferred Industry experience within financial reporting preferred Understanding of business processes and internal controls Basic understanding or working knowledge of finance systems and controllership tools such as SAP, Oracle, BlackLine and Workiva Strong communication and presentation skills Team player, ability to network across groups ( such as Finance, IT, Business, Tax, Legal) Demonstrated ability to multitask, manage and complete multiple priorities on time with minimal direction .
