About the Role
The AI Engineer within the Intelligent Automation (IA) team plays a key role in designing, developing, and implementing AI solutions to improve business processes and decision-making. Responsibilities include engaging with clients, participating in business development, and working on projects involving machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, generative models, and multi-agent systems. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI products and services, and help the business adopt AI technologies effectively.
Responsibilities
Meet with clients and business teams to assess AI needs and identify suitable solutions.
Participate in client pitches and sales activities to demonstrate Citco’s AI capabilities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver AI solutions that add value.
Provide technical leadership to project teams from conception to deployment.
Design, build, and optimize AI models for financial applications.
Integrate AI solutions into existing systems to enhance functionality.
Manage data preprocessing, feature engineering, and infrastructure setup.
Deploy models into production and monitor their performance for continuous improvement.
Stay updated on AI trends and propose innovative solutions.
Establish best practices for AI model development and deployment.
Create comprehensive documentation for solutions and processes.
Contribute to project reports and maintain communication with stakeholders.
Engage with internal teams to communicate AI initiatives and benefits.
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Over 5 years of experience in AI/ML development with successful deployments.
Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience with advanced NLP techniques, including vector databases, fine-tuning LLMs, and RAG.
Knowledge of MLOps practices.
Understanding of financial products and fund administration is beneficial.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
