Senior Cardiac Physiologist Opportunity

We are collaborating with a leading private hospital in Cork to fill a Senior Cardiac Physiologist position with expertise in echocardiography.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in delivering various non-invasive cardiac investigations and supporting high-standard care in both clinical and cath lab settings. As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will provide expertise in:

  • Transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography
  • Dobutamine and exercise stress echo
  • ECG, ambulatory monitoring
  • Device clinics (Pacemakers, ICDs, Loop recorders)
  • Supporting complex cardiac diagnostics including EP studies and PCI
Requirements:
  • A recognised qualification in Clinical Measurement Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, with at least 1 year in echocardiography
  • Current BSE (British Society of Echocardiography) or EACVI (European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging) accreditation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
