Your New Role As BIM Manager, you will take a strategic leadership role in the development and implementation of BIM and digital delivery processes across the practice. You will be responsible for embedding ISO 19650-compliant workflows, integrating AI into BIM processes, and ensuring best practice across multiple platforms and Common Data Environments (CDEs). You will also lead internal teams, assess staff competencies, and develop tailored training programmes to elevate digital capabilities across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of BIM strategy and digital delivery frameworks.
Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards and best practice documentation.
Oversee the integration of AI technologies into BIM workflows to enhance design and delivery.
Manage and mentor BIM and project teams, setting goals and evaluating performance.
Develop and deliver staff training programmes to elevate digital competencies.
Write and maintain policy and procedural documentation for digital delivery.
Present digital strategies and project updates to clients and senior leadership.
Collaborate with external consultants and contractors to resolve design coordination issues.
Champion innovation in digital design processes and sustainability-driven solutions.
What You'll Need to Succeed 5-7 years' experience in BIM management or digital delivery roles within architecture or construction.
Deep knowledge of ISO 19650 processes and documentation.
Proven experience with multiple BIM platforms and Common Data Environments (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, Dalux).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to write and implement strategic policy documentation.
Experience in staff development, training, and competency assessment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence in client-facing presentations and stakeholder engagement.
A passion for digital innovation, with experience embedding AI into BIM workflows.
