Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Project Engineer to join a leading engineering solutions provider. This role offers the chance to work on innovative projects across the food, chemical, and water industries, delivering automation and control systems that set industry standards. If you have a strong maintenance background and a passion for engineering design and project delivery, this could be the perfect next step in your career. Responsibilities Manage and deliver multiple engineering projects from concept through to commissioning. Collaborate with clients to define specifications and ensure technical compliance. Design and develop electrical systems, including control panels and automation solutions. Oversee installation and commissioning of machinery and process systems. Support troubleshooting, scheduled maintenance, and ensure adherence to safety standards. Criteria HNC/HND or higher in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics. Hands-on experience in maintenance or engineering roles. Knowledge of Pumps, Motors, VSDs, PLCs, and electrical schematics. Strong understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical integration. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Desirable: PLC programming experience, food/automation industry background, 18th Edition certification.
