Software Test Engineer, Staff

In this role the candidate works on a team responsible for testing QTI security solutions on Qualcomm chipsets. The role involves a good mix of hands‑on testing of the products and software development of test cases and automation using a combination of C/C++, Python and XML. *Please note this role will require 5 days per week onsite in our Cork office* Responsibilities: - Design test plan to validate security protocol and algorithm and its interaction with other applications. - Develop and implement test applications at both API level and system level using C and C++ and automating test cases in Python. - Test execution, troubleshooting and problem resolution on embedded software platforms. - Interact in a team environment with developers, system engineers and testers. Preferred Qualifications: - 6 + years experience in C, C++ and Python. - Knowledge of cryptography and security protocol is a plus. - Team player, work independently with minimum supervision. - Verbal and written communication skills.
