Financial Accountant -Fixed Term Contract About the Role Our client a leading Financial Services organisation are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to gain experience in a fast-paced financial services environment with exposure to investment schemes, regulatory reporting etc. Great culture with flexible hybrid working -This role is initially being offered on a 6 month contract basis. Key Responsibilities As a Financial Accountant, you will: Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and Central Bank returns. Support the preparation of monthly NAV files for investment schemes. Assist in the preparation and review of client asset regulatory controls, including daily client money reconciliations, client money calculations, and financial instrument reconciliations. Carry out finance operations such as payment processing for product creation, income and maturity transactions, ensuring all entries are accurately processed on the firms accounting systems. Liaise with internal and external auditors to support audit requirements. Undertake ad-hoc duties as required across the organisation and other group entities. Qualifications, Skills & Experience Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA,CPA) Experience in financial services an advantage but not essential. An analytical and problem-solving mindset with a methodical approach to work. Proven ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams. Salary €60,000 - €65,000
