Senior Placement Consultant at Ayrton Group
Ayrton Group are seeking a Technical Safety Specialist to join our client, a large utilities organisation, on an ongoing project. This role will be based out of a lab facility in the Limerick region 1/2 days per week, but will require weekly travel to other locations in the region for site/lab visits and meetings.

This is a 12 month contract role with the potential for further extension.

Key Responsibilities

Providing ongoing Health and Safety support.

Managing day to day labs.

Approval of Risk Assessments / Operational Procedures.

Ensuring Risk Assessment / Operational Procedures are in line with Safety Management System.

Visiting various labs and sites as required, weekly.

Documentation Management, including version control, change management and controlled distribution.

Provide reports on output and with relevant information for reporting up the line.

Provide support in the delivery of other related Health and Safety projects.

Set high standards, by encouraging others to embed a HSQE culture.

Perform other duties as required from time to time.

Key Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Safety, Health, and Welfare at Work or equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar position.

Previous experience in lab environments would be beneficial.

Varied experience in other sectors such as Pharmaceuticals would be beneficial.

Previous experience in report writing and collation of information for KPI’s, safety metrics, presentations etc. required.

Strong ability to prioritise tasks, work with schedules, and manage resources while remaining focused on main goals.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You must be legally permitted to live and work in Ireland.

Full driver’s license and vehicle.
