Graduate Fund Accountant My Client, a Fund Management Company and Alternative Investment Fund Manager approved by the Central bank and based in Dublin. They are seeking a young Fund Accountant to join their Fund Accounting team involved with all aspects of Fund Administration. Duties and responsibilities Review of daily asset price movements and investigation of exceptions Review of Foreign Exchange rate movements Review of Trial Balance and daily NAV movements, and investigation of exceptions. Use of Eagle fund accounting system to calculate daily NAVs Completion of daily cash, custody and income reconciliations and investigation of exceptions Review of income and expense accruals and investigation of exceptions Processing of payments and security transactions on custody systems Capturing of trades to the accounting system Distribution of daily and monthly NAV prices to vendors Monthly and ad hoc Trustee reporting Assisting with Regulatory reporting, including completion of monthly and quarterly Central Bank returns Preparation of ad hoc reporting required by clients Assisting with preparation of annual and interim financial statements Required experience A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required Relevant knowledge of fund services / asset management administration Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; experience with fund accounting platforms is a plus. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
