About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join theOperational Riskteam in Risk asaSeniorAssociate.TheDavy Risk Team help safeguard and satisfy our obligations to the Davy client base and the regulatory authorities by providing independent oversight,supportandchallengeto the business.

In your role as Senior Associate,Operational Risk youwill;

- Support the team in providingoversightand subject matterexpertisefor Operational Risk–including Information Technology Risk, InformationSecurity and Cyber Risk, Change Management Risk, Third Party Management Risk.

- Work with senior team members, including the Head of Operational Risk on reporting to various governance Committees and the Board.

- Represent Davy Risk as SME on related projects and team initiatives.

- Developin-depth knowledge of Davy’s business operations and the regulatory framework governing its activities.

- Drive continuous process improvement and innovation across team activities.

- Assistin the enhancement of Davy’s Control Assurance Framework and ensure that the Business Units/Functions haveappropriate controlsin place.

- Enhance risk culture by promoting risk awareness and embedding Davy’s values in the business.

- Develop strong working relationships interdepartmentally to ensure cross functional collaboration across the organisation.

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:

- 3rd level Degreeor relevant work experience in financialservices /WealthManagement;

- Logical and solutiondriven;

- Good communicationand interpersonalskills;

- Accuracy and attention todetail;

- Experience of successfully working to tightdeadlines;

- Proven team player with a flexible attitude towards work.

- Willingness to take initiative and participate in projects
