Regional Sales Engineer - Munster region. Location: South of Ireland/Munster Region. Reports to: Sales Manager We are seeking a driven and technically skilled Regional Sales Engineer to manage and grow business across the South of Ireland. This role combines account management with new business development, focusing on delivering innovative solutions to customers in the electrical, automation, interconnect, and communications sectors. The successful candidate will develop strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and securing new business opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical background and a passion for providing customer-focused solutions within a growing and dynamic organisation. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow an existing portfolio of key customer accounts. Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets. Understand and promote the companys full range of hardware and software solutions across Electrical, Interconnect, Automation, and Communications technologies. Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, providing effective solutions to design and engineering challenges. Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients at all organisational levels. Collaborate closely with the head office team in Dublin to ensure smooth communication and project coordination. Demonstrate strong commercial awareness when managing opportunities and negotiations. Respond promptly and professionally to customer issues with a problem-solving approach. Achieve agreed sales and growth targets, contributing to increased market share. Represent the company professionally at client meetings, trade events, and industry exhibitions. Travel throughout the South of Ireland, with occasional travel abroad as required. Qualifications & Experience A background in Electrical, Control Systems, or Engineering is highly desirable. Technical or business-related qualification (degree, diploma, or equivalent) preferred. Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within an engineering or industrial environment. Strong understanding of automation, electrical systems, or related technologies. Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within Ireland.
