The Manager, Alternative Investments will be responsible for managing the Alternative Investments group, including conducting the performance management process and providing input for staff and disciplinary actions.

Additionally, this role will provide SME (Subject Matter Expertise) support for our large clients in the region and will engage with new business, sales, RFP (Request for Proposal), and BAU (business as usual) operations for IOO (Investment Outsourcing Operations).

This role will also support the expanding LTAF/LTIF semi-liquid structure in the EMEA region, with a local presence of expertise supporting our growing business within Alternatives.

Additional responsibilities include:

Developing and maintaining specific subject expertise and advising business management and relevant third parties.

Providing advice to internal clients on business trends, issues, operational environment changes, and strategy.

Interacting with various business areas to determine automation needs and providing ongoing systems support.

Maintaining risk management and compliance programs for the group.

The ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following skills & experience:

A strong background in private debt, syndicate loans, and alternative investment products.

In-depth knowledge of the business unit/function.

Experience providing technical consultation and leadership to teams and partners.

Experience conducting performance management, staffing, disciplinary actions, and training.

Ability to develop goals, organize work, prioritize, and ensure timely completion.

Excellent communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, written).

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of Capital Markets, with exposure to Private Equity, Valuation Reporting, or Reconciliations as an advantage.

A college or university degree and/or relevant work experience.

Extensive exposure to Securities Operations, with experience in the Alternative Assets domain preferred.

Experience working with Risk, Audit, and Compliance to meet organizational objectives.
