Payroll Team Lead – Loughrea – Onsite

My client based in Loughrea is currently seeking a Payroll Team Lead to join their growing payroll department. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can meet tight deadlines.

Our payroll team is committed to delivering the highest standards of service to our clients consistently.

Job Summary:

- Manage and process weekly payrolls for a portfolio of clients
- Prepare and submit Revenue returns in a timely manner
- Handle bank payment processing accurately
- Respond to day-to-day payroll queries from clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records
- Perform general administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

- Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a payroll role (essential)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Proven ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
- IPASS certification is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and a strong sense of responsibility
