We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a well-established company based in Tipperary. This is a fantastic on-site opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of the payroll function.
Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately process weekly payroll, ensuring all payments are made on time.

- Calculate overtime, public holiday pay, and any other payroll adjustments.

- Prepare and submit payment files for bank processing.

- Manage monthly deductions for pensions, health insurance, and other statutory and voluntary deductions.

- Process new starters and leavers, ensuring employee records are up to date.

- Conduct payroll data analysis and reporting.

- Ensure payroll compliance with Irish tax regulations and employment laws.

- Prepare monthly payroll journals and reconcile payroll balance sheet accounts.

- Continuously develop and refine payroll procedures to improve efficiency.

- Liaise with external auditors as required.

- Maintain the company vehicle register.

- Work closely with HR to support salary, bonus, and payroll-related queries.

- Assist with additional payroll and finance tasks as needed.

Skills & Attributes

- IPASS certification or a relevant payroll qualification.

- Proven experience in a Payroll Administrator role, with strong knowledge of payroll processes, taxation, and statutory deductions.

- Hands-on experience with payroll software and a solid understanding of payroll regulations.

- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage confidential information securely.

- Strong team player with excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

- Ability to work collaboratively with HR and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
