Noel Group Healthcare are recruiting for an experienced Caretaker/General Operative for an existing healthcare location in the Waterford area. Candidates would have or be willing to obtain with us: Garda Vetting Solas Safe Pass Manual Handling Must be the holder of a full valid unendorsed Category B Driving Licence (Manual). Must have previous experience carrying out general Building & grounds maintenance, including preventive basic maintenance. Attractive rates of pay per hour with premiums paid for weekend and bank holiday work. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary Duties include and not limited to: Inspecting the building, including heating, cooling, lighting and alarm systems to make sure they are in good working order Performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks as required Sourcing, booking and supervising contractors for major repairs Monitoring cleaning materials, tools, and furniture and reordering as required Managing bookings for any buildings or rooms available for hire Opening building at the start of the day and locking all doors and windows when not in operation Adhering to the company's safety policies to create a safe working environment for everyone Basic DIY skills and in-depth understanding of maintenance procedures Problem-solving skills for addressing safety and maintenance concerns Strong verbal and written communication skills for giving instructions to contractors and support crews Organisation, multi-tasking and scheduling skills Customer service skills for positive dealings with building owners and administrators Research and networking skills for sourcing the best external contractors First aid for helping contractors or members of the community requiring basic medical care on site Gardening and performing landscape duties If you are looking for a job in healthcare, then please apply with your CV.
