Oncology Nurse Permanent - Full time Bon Secours Hospital Cork are delighted to announce a position for a staff nurse in our oncology ward. We are committed to the professional development & education of staff particularly in nursing. We are inviting application from suitably qualified and experienced staff nurses. The successful applicant will be required to take responsibility on each shift for the nursing care of allocated patients. To Work within the nursing team and assist colleagues as necessary in always providing and maintaining the highest standards in patient care and to work as part of the multidisciplinary team. Candidate Requirements: Registered in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI. A minimum of 2 years experience as a staff nurse in an acute general hospital, preferably in an acute medical oncology ward. Relevant course in Oncology nursing or equivalent is a distinct advantage. Chemotherapy competence preferred but not essential. Person Specification: Excellent interpersonal and team building skills. Must possess strong leadership qualities, communication skills and clinical skills. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Must be computer literate.
