Our manufacturing client is looking to welcome a Finance Director to join the business. Reporting to the MD, you will oversee the full finance function, assess drivers of profitability and develop plans to achieve strategic goals.

Responsibilities

- Oversee Finance function, with particular focus on cost management, risk management, cash flow, controls and business intelligence
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation/submission of monthly and year-end financial and monthly management accounts
- Identify revenue and margin improvement opportunities through data mining and analysis to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the company
- Be a key partner in the development of the strategy with growth plans
- Identify commercial, financial and economic risks
- Ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements

- Experienced senior finance/accounting professional with a background in manufacturing (essential)
- A hands-on ‘get it done’ mentality and approach to work
- Ability to thrive and deliver success with a small team
- Highly adaptable, dynamic and can pivot as the business scales
