Our client, a global financial institution, is seeking highly experienced candidates for multiple roles at Vice President level within Financial Reporting . In this key leadership role, you will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements for a diverse portfolio of complex investment funds. The position offers a high level of client and auditor interaction, requiring both strong technical expertise and exceptional communication skills.

As a VP, you will drive excellence in financial reporting, support junior team members, and ensure all deliverables align with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

The role

Lead the preparation and review of financial statements for complex funds, ensuring full compliance with relevant accounting standards, including IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP , and applicable regulatory frameworks.

Serve as a primary liaison with clients and auditors to facilitate timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting.

Review core financial components—such as the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and statement of changes in equity—to ensure accurate reconciliations and comprehensive note disclosures.

Monitor developments in accounting standards and implement necessary updates to ensure continued compliance.

Oversee the work of junior team members, providing review, coaching, and technical guidance to uphold quality standards.

Collaborate with external auditors and clients to incorporate requested adjustments and finalize financial statements.

While this role does not include direct reports, it involves mentoring junior staff and may include management responsibilities in certain regions.

Play an active role in driving the success of the broader financial reporting team and contributing to strategic initiatives.

The candidate

7+ years of financial accounting experience, ideally within fund administration or a Big 4 environment with exposure to investment funds.

Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) strongly preferred.

In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and reporting frameworks, including IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP , with proven experience in preparing financial statements for mutual funds, hedge funds, or other complex fund structures.

Hands‑on experience with financial reporting tools such as Confluence with a track record of producing high‑quality, compliant reporting outputs.

Highly organized, deadline‑focused, and capable of thriving in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.

Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, combined with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
