Team/Role Overview

The Audit Manager is an intermediate level role responsible for performing complex audits and assessments of Citi's risk and control environments in coordination with the Audit team. The overall objective is to utilize in-depth subject matter expertise to ensure that the firm meets audit standards and regulations and to work with business leaders to determine solutions for emerging issues.

What you'll do

1. Consistently develop, execute and deliver audit reports in a timely manner, in accordance with Internal Audit and Regulatory standards
2. Review and approve the Business Monitoring Quarterly summary and serve as lead reviewer for all reviews
3. Collaborate with teams across the business and determine impact on overall control environment and audit approach
4. Manage audit activities for components of Operational Risk Management, including a portion of the audit annual plan
5. Advise the business on change initiatives, while advancing integrated auditing concepts and technology adoption
6. Recommend interventions to issues, propose solutions for risk and control problems, partner with Directors and Managing Directors to develop approaches for broader corporate issues
7. Apply in-depth understanding of Internal Audit standards, policies and regulations to a specific product or function area
8. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we'll need from you

1. A suitable level of Internal Audit experience ideally coupled with Risk Management Financial Services experience working within a global model and cross-regional teams
2. Proven ability to execute concurrently on a portfolio of high-quality deliverables according to strict timetables
3. Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement and innovation in audit tools and techniques
4. Self-Starter to proactively identify risks in the business
5. Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferred
6. Effective verbal, written and negotiation skills; Effective project management skills; Effective influencing and relationship management skills
