We have an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Manager/Manager to join our Deloitte Private tax team in the Cork office. About the Team Our Deloitte Private tax team is a multidisciplinary team that advises private companies, their owners and high net worth individuals on a wide range of commercial and tax issues including asset holding structures, personal taxation, shareholder issues, succession and estate planning and buy/sell side tax advisory. About the Role: Advise and support clients on tax planning strategies to include asset holding structures, personal taxation, shareholder issues, succession and estate planning and buy/sell side advisory. Assist the senior management group in preparing detailed technical tax advice in relation to various tax issues, including detailed research of tax legislation and case law. Interact with other Deloitte offices around the world as part of globally coordinated client programs. Assist in the management of billings and fee collection for allocated clients. Delegate to, manage and review trainee work on allocated clients. Present in-house tax training courses and assist with client presentations as required. About You: AITI qualified tax professional with relevant PQE Strong tax technical knowledge - previous experience of advising clients of asset holding structures, personal taxation, shareholder issues, succession and estate planning would be an advantage Experience of working as part of a private client team would be an advantage An ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and comprehensive way to those in the business without a tax technical background ACA/CTA qualification or equivalent.
