Senior Occupational Therapist - In-Patient Mental Health (1-Year Contract) Location: South Dublin Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week Salary: €65,000 - €75,000 per annum (equivalent hourly rate: €37-€43 per hour) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join a long-term in-patient mental health service in South Dublin. This is a 1-year contract within a well-established multidisciplinary team supporting service users across a broad spectrum of mental health presentations, including: Addiction General Adult Psychiatry Psychiatry of Old Age Psychosis Child & Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Senior OT to work across a diverse caseload and contribute meaningfully to recovery-focused, client-centred care within an in-patient environment. Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive OT assessments in an in-patient mental health setting Develop, implement, and review individualised treatment plans Provide individual and group interventions tailored to each clinical area Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Maintain high standards of clinical documentation in line with CORU requirements Contribute to service development, quality improvement projects, and ongoing programme enhancement Requirements Degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy CORU registration Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, with relevant mental health experience Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a wider MDT Experience across any of the listed mental health specialties is an advantage Benefits Competitive salary: €65,000 - €75,000 Diverse caseload with exposure to multiple mental health specialties Supportive, established inpatient MDT environment Ongoing professional development and learning opportunities If you are an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist seeking a rewarding, long-term inpatient mental health role in South Dublin, we would love to hear from you.
