Excellent opportunity for a Civil Technician to develop their career in marine & civil infrastructure in Ireland Civil Technician required to join a leading Marine & Civil Engineering Consultancy in Ireland. This is an office-based role offering exposure to technically challenging and unique marine infrastructure projects across Ireland. The successful Civil Technician will support experienced engineers on the design and documentation of a range of civil and structural works including quay walls, piers, jetties, breakwaters, retaining walls and associated infrastructure. Sample Projects: Coastal defence and quay wall upgrades across Ireland values €5M€50M+ Port infrastructure expansions and marine civil works Refurbishment and strengthening of existing marine and civil structures Urban waterway and marine public realm enhancement projects Requirements: Civil Engineering Technician qualification or equivalent. 25 years experience in civil / structural design office in Ireland Strong AutoCAD skills. Experience with Civil 3D / Revit / MicroStation is a bonus. Good understanding of civil infrastructure, detailing and documentation. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a collaborative team. A proactive approach and eagerness to develop your technical skillset. Salary / Benefits: Excellent salary circa €35K 45K (DOE) plus benefits Paid professional membership fees Pension, health insurance & life assurance Annual bonus. Ongoing CPD, training and clear progression pathway. Office-based role with opportunities for occasional site visits.
