Are you an experienced Tax accountant looking to embark on a new opportunity with a global employer? This opportunity is ideal for someone with an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or similar) who wants to further their experience with a global employer. Responsibilities
- Staying on top of compliance and regulations and interacting with relevant departments to ensure regulations are adhered to.
- Preparation of annual corporation tax charge
- Analysing capital expenditure for the purposes of capital allowances
- Review of excise duty returns and alcohol process throughout the company
- International taxation reporting
- Participation in internal and external tax audits
Qualifications
A recognised Tax qualification and/or ACA/ACCA is essential along with previous experience in an EU VAT management role. You will have extensive knowledge of existing and proposed VAT legislation. Experience of working with a large ERP system like SAP or Oracle would be a distinct advantage.
You will demonstrate an excellent eye for detail and be incredibly strategic in your approach to work. You will be self-aware and well able to adapt in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. A candidate who is very commercially aware will do well here and the company wants talent who will voice their opinion and strive to have their ideas heard.
