Description

As part of the Supply Chain Innovation team, you will play a pivotal role in building end-to-end, best-in-class software solutions for Apple’s Supply Chain needs, ranging from Supply Planning and Demand Planning to Product Distribution and beyond. You will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to define and implement solutions that optimize Apple’s internal business processes.

Responsibilities

- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and able to work independently, while collaborating effectively with multi-functional teams across the globe (US, Singapore, India, and Europe).
- This role will have a direct impact on Apple’s business, requiring interaction with various internal teams to deliver cutting-edge products in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment.

Minimum Qualifications

- Experienced in enterprise-level application development using advanced Oracle database technologies.
- Hands-on experience with large-volume databases for both OLTP and OLAP environments.
- Experience with databases such as SingleStore, Oracle, Snowflake, NoSQL, Graph, etc.
- Proven expertise in ETL, performance optimization, and maintenance of various solutions based on Oracle databases.
- Strong ability to research, design, and develop complex technical solutions involving multiple technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
- Experience with Python, Pandas DataFrames, SQLAlchemy, numpy, etc. is a plus.
- Experience in consuming and exposing web services (e.g., SOAP, REST) is a plus.
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux platforms and scripting experience with Shell, XML, JSON is a plus.
- AI/ML-related experience is a plus.
- A strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering and RAG is a plus.
- Experience in developing applications for the Supply Chain business domain is a plus
