WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Lead within the Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) organization for a strategic SAP customer. You will oversee several landscapes software deployments during the Operations phase including planning, scheduling, managing and controlling. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure successful deployments.

The expected tasks are:

- You will be a trusted advisor with a strong customer focus. It is paramount to serve our customers by providing quality services to satisfy their needs and coordinating infrastructure and application complexities in build and operations.

- You are responsible for planning, preparation, execution and monitoring the system software deployment activities at SAP ECS for all tiers in the systems landscape ensuring minimal disruption to the business. Documentation of the project, managing project risks and issues ensuring that adequate escalation processes are followed as part of Project Management practices.

- You will develop deployment plans that meet the expected outcomes.

- You will communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders, providing them the status of deployment and where deployment challenges arise, you are to manage the resolution of the deployment issue identified. You will ensure alignment, coordination and collaboration to always meet the projects’ objectives.

- Mentor and guide junior team members.

WHAT YOU BRING

- A bachelor’s degree in IT, or equivalent relevant field. 8+ years professional experience.

- Good Technical/SAP Basis understanding and or experience essential.

- Strong English skills to join international team. Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking.

- Project Management experience and knowledge. Good collaboration skills and understanding of project planning for technical migration project with a strong focus on customer service focus. Good experience on DB/OS migration, S/4 conversions, software upgrade projects, system copy and client copy/refresh.

- Experience with delivering Cloud Services e.g. with migrations to ECS or other ways.

- Ability to lead teams, take ownership and keep all the strings in hand and work closely with different stakeholders.

- Possibility to work on weekend shifts for production deployments.

SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) delivers RISE with SAP, S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition to our customers. As private cloud managed services provider, Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery provides real-time cloud platform, infrastructure and managed services focusing on fast time-to-value at reduced cost and risk.

ECS Delivery will provide an E2E service by combining operations services with advanced packages such as architecture, security and compliance management, and release management, and aims at providing a “public cloud” like experience.
