Overview Are you a successful project manager with a passion for driving change? At Gallagher, we are looking for an individual to lead and deliver a Business Integration project within our UK Insurance Retail business.
This role involves working closely with impacted business units, individuals in our Retail Insurance Division, and Enterprise Solutions (Central Service) functions. The project will move at speed, requiring skills and intellect to understand the details, engage with senior stakeholders, and adapt communication styles to meet diverse needs. You will be responsible for driving project delivery and coordinating work with third-party vendors.
This role is based in Ireland and we are looking for individuals based in Ireland who have past experience in the insurance industry and ideally experience in business integration/merging project management. This is a hybrid working role and a small amount of travel will be required.
How you/'ll make an impact Manage the business integration project in line with the Change Management Framework, defining project approach, resource requirements, and estimating delivery timelines.
Define and agree on project scope, outputs, timescale, quality, cost, and benefits to ensure business requirements are clearly articulated and understood.
Establish and manage project structure, roles, and teams for efficient and effective delivery.
Produce RAID logs and manage mitigation activities, including ongoing risk assessment.
Collaborate with Information Technology and external application vendors to integrate their costs, activities, and deliverables within the overall project scope.
Create high-level and detailed documents to effectively communicate with the project team, peers, and stakeholders.
Act with integrity and sensitivity, maintaining discretion and professionalism with confidential information.
Liaise with and manage design transformation resources, sharing knowledge and best practices as needed.
About You Previous experience in project management with insurance business integration or insurance business change project is essential.
Excellent knowledge of business improvement and change management methodologies.
Ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence business decisions across all stakeholder groups.
Confidently respond to conflicts and manage situations positively, proactively escalating ongoing issues.
Self-starter with excellent time management skills, able to set priorities and monitor progress under timeline pressure.
Ability to lead and motivate others through effective people management skills.
Project Management certification (PMP, Prince 2, or MSP) would be a preference.
Attention to detail and analytical approach, able to analyze findings and make trusted recommendations.
High level of discretion and empathy.
Eligible to work in the UK with client site travel required.
