What you need to know Our client, a leader in cooked foods processing, is seeking a Quality Manager for their Cavan facility. This is a 12-month Maternity contract and will be the number two in the Site Operations team. Ensuring production requirements are met focusing on Food safety and Quality Duties and responsibilities Lead and maintain Food Safety & Quality Management Systems, including HACCP, BRC, and Bord Bia PQAS standards. Manage high-risk food production processes, canning operations, and laboratory activities. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements, liaising with DAFF and other authorities. Oversee raw material and stock controls, product specifications, and customer quality expectations. Lead internal audits, corrective/preventative actions, and non-conformance management. Manage sanitation, hygiene, and environmental policies across the facility. Handle customer complaints, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate staff training, induction, and contractor compliance.
