The Opportunity

Position: Practice Director OR Clinical Director

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Waterford city, Co. Waterford

Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience, plus participation in a discretionary bonus scheme for directors

Relocation: Up to €5,000 relocation allowance available to support your move

Hours: 40 hours/week, 5 days

What You'll Do

- Lead with Purpose: Inspire your teams by fostering a professional, respectful, and collaborative environment. Be an ambassador for IVC Evidensia's values and culture.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee daily practice operations, including rota management, compliance, and coordination with wider leadership and support teams.
- Develop People: Work closely with HR and Talent teams to recruit, onboard, train, and support staff, ensuring a positive, inclusive workplace
- Manage Finance and Growth: Monitor financial performance, control stock, and implement marketing and business development strategies to support sustainable growth.
- Champion Clinical Standards (Clinical Director Role): Guide clinical policies, promote best practices, and support continuous professional development among the clinical team.

Who We're Looking For

- Practice Director candidates: Proven leadership and management experience
- Clinical Director candidates: Minimum 5 years' experience in small animal veterinary practice with clinical duties, plus a strong desire to grow into a leadership role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, fair, and compassionate approach.
- Ability to influence, collaborate, and confidently challenge the status quo.
- Commitment to IVC Evidensia's core values and professional standards.
