Location- Cork Hours - Part time Pay- Competitive Job description: Healthcare Assistant Gentle Hands Homecare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Cork city and county. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to client's within their own homes. Responsibilities: Assist client's with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide assistance with mobility, including transferring and positioning client's as needed. Provide companionship to client's, promoting their comfort and well-being. Assist with meal preparation Assist with medication prompting Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Requirements: QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (or equivalent) qualification is required. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a community or home care setting, is desirable. Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently while adhering to care plans and protocols. Full Driver's License and own transport Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards client's. Compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.
