Planner - Pharmaceuticals - 12-Month Contract

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the site readiness team and stakeholders on developing and managing schedules for a successful operations startup post project handover.
2. Maintain the overall milestone program and ensure milestone definitions are written and agreed upon by stakeholders.
3. Work directly with site functional stakeholders & project stakeholders to develop & manage integrated schedules.
4. Coordinate with site & project team on scope and create detailed/micro schedules to facilitate fast-tracking opportunities.
5. Determine reasonable schedule logic and constraints based on discussion with task owners and/or teams.
6. Evaluate critical and near critical path activity sequences. Coordinate and facilitate review sessions with all stakeholders.
7. Monitor and report schedule deliverable status Weekly and Monthly as required by management.
8. Create schedule reports/indicators in accordance to the project execution plan.
9. Identify major milestones, critical elements and risk analysis.
10. Assess actual progress per functional areas against the schedule.
11. Identify schedule gaps, changes and trends that will enhance the team’s ability to control the site readiness activities.

Requirements:

1. Drug Substance Pharma/Biotech experience essential.
2. The ability to critique and challenge contractor schedules.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, or related experience.
4. 3 years of P6 experience in medium to large-sized construction projects.
5. In-depth knowledge of Primavera P6.
6. An understanding of typical operational readiness programs in Drug Substance.
7. Must be highly articulate and have excellent communication and presentation skills.
8. Strong decision-making abilities.
9. Experience managing an Integrated Master Schedule is preferred but not essential.
10. Must be a team player.
