Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity for a Service Sales Specialist, you will drive sales of the Service team focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets. You will build strong customer relationships, identify new market opportunities, and ensure a seamless sales process aligned with Hitachi Energy’s strategy.
Location: Ireland (Hybrid), some travel to Dublin

How you'll make an impact:
- Sales & Profitability:Assist in driving sales by promoting service products, ensuring optimal volume and profitability.
- Customer Engagement:Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions for a positive experience.
- Sales Planning:Create and manage sales plans using internal tools; monitor progress and implement recovery strategies when needed.
- Value Creation:Use effective sales techniques to ensure successful deals, aligning proposals with company offerings and terms.
- Marketing & Promotion:Support marketing efforts and communicate value propositions effectively to customers.
- Market Development:Identify and pursue new market opportunities, fostering cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Sales Administration:Handle administrative tasks, support collections, and assist with project management as required.
- Offer Management:Prepare competitive offers in coordination with internal teams, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.
Your Background:
- Your background Bachelor’s degree; or suitable relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in electrical industry and front-end roles within the Service market, including sales or sales management.
- Strong technical foundation with a degree or relevant qualification; deep knowledge of the electrical industry, customer segments, and Hitachi Energy’s offerings.
- Skilled in managing multiple quotes simultaneously, with a focus on customer communication and timely updates.
- Demonstrated ability to develop client-focused solutions, drive new business creatively, and deliver results in a competitive environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, negotiation, presentation, and both verbal and written communication.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a results-driven setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce; capable of motivating and delegating within a team to execute tasks effectively.
- Full clean Irish Driver’s license
