Position: C&Q Engineer
Cork, Ireland.

PACIV, a global leader in industrial automation solutions with offices in Ireland, the United States and Puerto Rico, and serving the Life Science, F&B and Utilities industries, is looking for an experienced Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) Engineer. This is a site-based role that requires strong field experience working with a range of black and clean utilities.

Job Description

This C&Q Engineer will work within a multinational life science manufacturing environment in Cork, Ireland. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience working with a range of black and clean utilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. The C&Q Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing commissioning and qualification activities within the complete system life cycle.
  2. This includes supporting and coordinating the quality process over the life cycle of projects assigned with specific focus on C&Q.
  3. The successful candidate will develop and execute commissioning and qualification deliverables including preparation of qualification plans, impact assessments, criticality and GMP risk assessments, user requirements, design qualification, traceability matrices, commissioning and testing.
  4. Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure clear communication between all parties regarding C&Q and project requirements.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 years' strong field experience working with black and clean utilities.
  2. 5 years' experience in a similar role in life sciences, ideally in Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  3. Fluent English skills, written and verbal.
  4. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related studies.
  5. Knowledge and experience of utilities processes and technologies.
  6. Experience with development and execution of DQ, validation and test planning, CSV, IQ/OQ/PQ, loop checks and final reports.
  7. Team player with accountability.
  8. Result-driven and self-motivated individual.
  9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  10. Organised with computer literacy.
  11. Valid EU Work permit and Irish Residency required.
