Mechanical Maintenance Data Technician

In partnership with its client, Kenny-Whelan & Associates is currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Data Technician for the Cork area.
The Client:
The Client is a well-established pharmaceutical company in the Cork area.
Profile:
The Mechanical Maintenance Data Technician will work with the Maintenance Data Management team on site.
Duties:
1. Setting up assets, spares, and PMs in maintenance systems, preferably with previous use of all aspects of Maxim.
2. Expediting equipment component data from multiple vendors.
3. Liaising with the Maintenance Supervisor on the implementation of the PPM (Planned and Predictive Maintenance) program and day-to-day systems support/updates.
4. Collating, sorting, and analyzing data using MS Excel.
5. Reviewing and determining system functionality using the site's Reliability System Maintenance Tool.
6. Carrying out changes and amendments to the system and operation of the system to protect the integrity of historical data and asset information.
Educational / IT Qualifications:
1. Time-served Mechanical Fitter essential and/or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Desirable: Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3. MS Office to include Word, Access, Advanced Excel, and MS Project.
4. Strong knowledge and skills in MAXIMO, PEMAC, or other Maintenance Management systems essential.
Key Experience:
1. Previous maintenance support experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry.
2. Good understanding of operational processes and contract obligations.
3. Strong IT technical skills.
4. Strong understanding of the engineering requirements that drive asset management.
