Financial Controller

As Financial Controller, you will be a key part of the management team and will be heavily involved in helping to identify and access new business opportunities through M&A. This role will suit a data savvy finance professional, who can leverage technology to provide best-in-class reporting and value-add information to make a real impact on the decision making and direction of the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsibilities will include:
1. Responsibility for monthly and year end reporting, investigation of variances and overall results to assist business performance
2. Continuous improvement initiatives, developing best-in-class reporting & dashboards to enhance the control environment and improve all elements of financial information
3. Responsible for regular commercial reporting to Executive management providing insights that are accurate and timely to support strategic planning and decision making
4. Develop the strategy and process to be rolled out for the assessment and integration of all new acquisitions
5. Take a lead role in the preparation and coordination of the budgeting and forecasting process
6. Contribute towards the strategies for driving revenue growth and cost efficiencies
7. Manage banking relationships, while providing strong balance sheet and working capital management
ABOUT THE PERSON:
The successful candidate will have:
1. Qualified Accountant with 5+ years PQE
2. Excellent commercial acumen
3. Strong financial modelling and forecasting skills
4. Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
5. Proven ability to influence at all levels in the organization
6. Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
