Procurement Analyst / Buyer required for pharmaceutical/chemical manufacturing facility, Co Laois.

Midlands – Co Laois, commutable from Offaly, Kildare, North Tipperary and surrounds

CPL are working with our client partner to hire a Procurement Analyst for their GMP certified chemical production facility in Laois. The plant has been purpose built to support their client portfolio who are primarily in the Bio- Pharma, General Pharma and API manufacturing industries

The Procurement Analyst plays a central part in managing vendor relationships, supporting purchasing activities, and ensuring seamless communication across departments. With a strong focus on data accuracy, trend analysis, and customer service, the role contributes to the overall efficiency of the supply chain and supports strategic decision-making through business intelligence and reporting tools

Requirements

- Experience in procurement or a related field.
- Experience in chemical manufacturing preferred
- Certifications in dangerous goods handling (IATA, IMDG, and DOT) preferred.
- Understanding of global supply chain dynamics and international market trends.
- Experience with data analysis and creating data visualizations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Strong negotiation skills
