As a member of the operations team, you will be responsible for tasks such as picking and packing goods for dispatch, operating a counterbalance forklift to assist with loading, and maintaining the smooth and efficient flow of stock throughout the warehouse. Beyond your warehouse duties, the role includes van deliveries and collections across the Dublin area. It requires a confident and experienced driver who is comfortable with customer interactions and can represent the company in a professional and courteous manner. Success in this role depends on you maintaining high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and care in handling goods, along with the ability to manage your workload efficiently both in the warehouse and on the road. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position that offers excellent work-life balance in a secure and supportive working environment. Responsibilities: Conduct daily van deliveries and collections across North Dublin and nearby areas. Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in line with scheduled delivery routes. Safely load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring all delivery records and documentation are completed correctly. Interact with customers and suppliers to confirm delivery and collection details. Perform routine vehicle inspections and promptly report any faults or maintenance needs. Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transport regulations. Operate counterbalance forklifts equipment safely and efficiently, following proper training and guidelines. Requirements: Possession of a full, clean Category B driving licence with professional van driving experience. Up-to-date counterbalance forklift licence with recent, hands-on operating experience. Demonstrated success in a dual-function logistics role involving both warehouse duties and delivery driving. Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines. Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks in line with safety standards. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a strong focus on health and safety compliance. Basic IT skills for using warehouse systems, handheld scanners, and delivery tracking tools. Flexibility to adapt to changing delivery schedules or warehouse priorities as needed.
