Job Description

Role: Trading Analyst

Location: Group headquarters, Park West, Dublin

Overview: We are seeking a confident, proactive Trading Analyst to join our Commercial Trading Department in Ireland, supporting our rapid growth. The role reports to the Senior Trading Analyst and involves driving trading strategies through data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Produce weekly reports within set deadlines.

2. Support forecasting and stock distribution to stores.

3. Assist with analytics requirements for the Trading team.

4. Utilize data insights to influence business development.

5. Build strong relationships internally and with supply partners.

6. Analyze trading activity and pricing strategies.

7. Implement process improvements and efficiencies.

8. Monitor market trends and conduct competitor analysis.

9. Contribute to strategic planning at product and category levels.

Candidate Requirements

- At least 2 years experience as a Trading Analyst, Merchandise Planner, or Stock Allocator (FMCG experience preferred).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (experience with data manipulation and cube functions is a plus).

- Ability to extract insights from data and communicate findings effectively.

- Experience with Power BI or similar tools; SAP experience advantageous.

- Experience in FMCG retail environment preferred.

- Strong relationship-building skills and a proactive attitude.
