Machine Operator About Your New Employer: Based in Roscommon, our client has been operating for the last twenty five years providing excellent quality and service to customers. They are seeking a Machine Operator to join them. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in manufacturing or production. You will ensure the efficient running of equipment, inspect products for quality, and adhere to safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. About Your New Job as a Machine Operator: Set up, adjust, and operate machinery according to production specifications. Monitor machine operations to ensure optimal performance and output. Start and stop machines as necessary for quality control and production needs. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Detect and resolve issues such as machine malfunctions or product defects. Document and report production data and any deviations. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines. Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime. Alert maintenance teams or supervisors about significant repairs or breakdowns. Follow all health and safety regulations during operations. Use protective equipment and adhere to company policies. Maintain a clean and safe working environment around machinery. What Skills You Need as a Machine Operator A minimum of one year within a similar position. Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
