About the business division
The Water Utilities Division is Mott MacDonald’s centre of excellence for responding to the UK and Ireland's water and wastewater challenges. The work we do is at the forefront of ensuring safe water supplies for future generations, preventing urban flooding, and improving the health of our rivers and coastal environments. Our multi‑disciplinary teams provide a variety of services throughout the full project life cycle, from advisory services and feasibility studies to outline and detailed design. Together, we deliver best‑in‑class solutions to our clients while offering diverse and technically stimulating opportunities to our people.
Overview of the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Wastewater Network Modeller to join our team of innovative and motivated modellers, engineers and project managers, delivering projects for both UK Water Companies and international clients. The ideal candidate would be a motivated and experienced graduate or early career professional who wants to progress their career, with a desire to evolve within Mott MacDonald and to develop their technical skills with a view to achieving chartership with an appropriate body.
Qualified candidates should have a good working knowledge of InfoWorks ICM and GIS packages
Experience in the UK Water Sector
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Good communicator and able to enter into technical discussions in a logical and coherent fashion in both oral presentations and written reports
Experience working with FME, Power Bi and / or programming skills in languages such as Ruby, VBA or Python would be advantageous
