Psychologists – Staff Grade & Senior Grade

Contract: 12 or 6 Month with view to extend

FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting Staff Grade and Senior Grade Clinical/Counselling/ Educational Psychologists to join Galway Psychology teams.

These roles offer an excellent opportunity to work within dynamic teams, providing evidence-based psychological services across Primary Care Child Services and Adult Mental Health Services.

Vacancies

- Primary Care Child Services Staff Grade or Senior Grade Psychologist. Base: Athenry. 12 month contract.

- Primary Care Child Wait List Initiative Programme: 3 x Staff Grade Psychologist positions. Base: Galway City and County. 6 month contract (extension possible).

- Adult Mental Health Services: Senior Clinical Psychologist. Base: Ballybane, Galway City. 12 month contract.

- Adult Mental Health Services: Senior Clinical Psychologist. Base Ballinasloe. 12 month. contract.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

- Academic Qualification: Hold a university degree or diploma (QQI Level 8 equivalent) with 1st or 2nd class honours, with Psychology as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject.

- Post-Graduate Qualification: Possess an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology OR Have an equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction, validated by the Department of Health.

- Hold at least 60 days or equivalent supervised clinical placements as part of the professional qualification; or at least 60 days or equivalent post-qualification supervised work experience as a psychologist.

- Own transport.

- Living in Ireland with Irish working rights due to immediate start date.

- 3 years+ experience for Senior.
