This is a fantastic opportunity to either begin or continue your career in one of the Leading Hotels of the World. Working with a professional and welcoming Team you will be part of creating Merrion Moments for our guests and colleagues with your main duties including to: Greeting all guests to the hotel. Help guest with storage, delivery and collection of luggage. Assist in welcoming and directing attendees for on-site events or conferences. Deliver newspapers, messages and errands to guest bedrooms. Safely dispatch guests vehicles to and from the Hotel car park. Provide direction and assistance to hotel guests as requested. Assist in managing building access, ensuring only authorized individuals enter. Keep front of house and back of house areas neat and tidy. Deal with chauffeur and taxi drivers, tour guides and couriers and keeping the front of the hotel organised. Park & retrieve guests' vehicles. Stay informed about building policies, procedures, and facilities to answer queries confidently. The successful candidate will: Have previous experience in a 4 or 5* hotel in the Front Office or Concierge Department. Have the drive and talent to grow within our dynamic and service driven environment Have excellent communication and presentation skills. Be knowledgeable about Dublin city and surrounding areas. Have previous guest service experience. Work well in a team. Enjoy guest contact and communicate confidently with them Demonstrate excellent organisational skills. Have a genuine passion for service excellence. Be computer literate and have knowledge of Opera or equivalent. Who we are looking for A candidate with the ability to be professional and communicate courteously and effectively with guests and colleagues alike. Your enthusiasm will be infectious and will instill confidence in the services offered. Shift work & flexibility are required for this position. A full, clean & valid driver's license is of competitive advantage.
