I am working with a well-established company in West Cork, that is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working closely with the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

- Process, code, and post supplier invoices accurately.
- Investigate discrepancies in invoice totals.
- Prepare monthly payment runs for approval.
- Post month-end journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Perform bank reconciliations and analyse accounts for variances.
- Provide payroll support as needed.

Requirements:

- 3-5 years' experience working as an Accounts Assistant.
- Accounting Technician qualification is an advantage but not essential.
- IT Literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
