Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Freelance ISO SHEQ / QEHS Auditor based in Ireland to support our expanding client base across Ireland. The ideal candidate will be a Lead Auditor in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and ideally hold Lead Auditor status in ISO 9001.
This freelance role involves conducting audits and gap analysis for our clients. You must be willing to travel nationwide to client sites and work hybrid with onsite and remote. Notice will be given in advance for all scheduled audits and gap analysis. Flexibility, reliability, and professionalism are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Internal audit, gap analysis for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
Write detailed reports and deliver findings to the client.
Identify non-conformities, risks, and improvement opportunities; communicate findings clearly to clients.
Support clients in achieving and maintaining third-party certification.
Work closely with CGBC’s project management team to ensure audit planning and reporting are delivered effectively and on time.
Skills & Qualifications:
Lead Auditor certification in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (essential).
Lead Auditor or strong auditing experience in ISO 9001 (preferred).
Demonstrated experience conducting ISO audits across diverse sectors.
Strong understanding of QEHS legislative and compliance frameworks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, detailed audit reports.
Proven ability to work independently and professionally with multiple clients.
Full clean driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites nationwide.
Preferred Experience:
Prior freelance consulting/auditing experience.
Familiarity with a wide range of industry environments (e.g., construction, manufacturing, pharma, engineering).
Additional qualifications in Quality, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or similar fields.
